MORZINE
Morzine is just a 70 minute drive from Geneva airport and is an extremely attractive and popular winter destination. It is a traditional farming town nestling at 1000m between the local Morzine/Les Gets area and Avoriaz pistes.
For most lessons we meet at Pleney, which is at the top of the telecabine directly out of Morzine, at an altitude of 1500m. There is easy access to a fantastic beginner's area, as well as a host of blue, red and black runs. Many slopes are equipped with snow cannon.
The lower slopes are tree-lined and varied, winding there way back down to either Morzine, or neighbouring Les Gets. The higher slopes of Nyon and Chamossiere (2000m) offer some challenging, long runs and off-piste skiing and boarding.
